And have you driven a Allroad? It might be expensive upkeep but it's a twin turbo V6. It's kinda a little rocket wagon.

I LOVE allroads and would give a nut for a 6sp equipped one... I will own one some day. But, be advised that the Legacy can come with an allroad matching 250HP and come with a TON less problems.

A bit of a side story : we have an A4 avant with 110K on it and a Legacy wagon with 208K on it...guess which one has given us no trouble since purchasing it and which has had little junk go wrong with it from time to time? 😉

I don't mind it though. I look for excuses to turn a wrench and don't mind fixing things. The A4 is a much more comfortable and fun car to drive, so the occasional headaches are worth it 🙂

Did they make any Legacy GT wagons? All I've ever seen are sedans.

I guess you missed my post above:
"I would definitely look into a Legacy GT wagon. Nice style and fun to drive especially if you like a manual trans. I really enjoy my 06 and still get compliments on it."

i drove the 2.5 Subby XT Turbo a while back ... was not impressed at all. It felt really sluggish and the turbo seemed to take forever to wind up. The manual 5 speed was horrid. The interior is tiny and cramped and looked cheesy. I ended up getting a Speed6 .. not a wagon but that wasn't a requisite for me. Just my 2 cents about the subaru ...I'm gonna go with boring on that as well.
