I think Im well underperforming on what I should be getting score-wise on 3D Mark '03.

Anyone have informed opinions on what should this system be getting?

Dell 4550
P4 2.4
768 of 2.5
Radeon 9800 Pro
WD 120 SE

I dont want to list what I got yet so as not to cloud opinions on scores

please keep in mind that everything is running at stock clock.

I would think you are running the default resolution?

Is AA/AF on?

V Sync disabled?

I would think you are getting about 16k... You could be pullling 18+ into the 20 range if you were running 2.4@3ghz and OC that 9800 pro.

:D

He said 03.

I would say at least 4k 3D marks (although that's quite low), more probably in the 5k+ range.

What are your scores? My system 2.4C@3.2 / 1GB @ 2.5 / 9800Pro @ 398/348 gets mid to upper 5K's @ 1024x768 with no AA/AF or Vsync.

2.4/9800pro @ stock
4900-5300
Also
Dell mobo = less performance
"B" version of 2400 may score less on cpu test.

Instead of this silly exercise, why don't you compare your score with a similar setup and go from there.
