W98: Calling all 9x Gurus

Alright, my uncle in law called me up with a question that has me stumped (trying to help him on a W2k machine wasn't much help either)..

His problem is, when he right clicks on the start menu, and goes to explore... The left side where the folders should be, is grayed out, and the right side just shows icons... Please help!

Sorry man, I don't know for sure what the problem is, but there is a much better site than the ATF for this question. True, the ATF are awesome, but they really specialize in Hardware and off topic threads. Try the Win9x forum on the Computing.net website. Often if I have software questions that I know are a stumper, I will post here and there at the same time, just in case. And they are also kickass for any other Software or Hardware question.
