1st Gen Core i3 w/W7Pro. I'd like to know what I should be looking at in the Task Manager and under Services to better manage in order to get the most out of this kind of setup.
This was the wife's PC, but she got an iMac. I am recycling and it is the newest in the house. Seems every time I start this formerly spousal PC it would have several things running a muck in the background.
Only thing installed is Office 2007, Photoshop (CS5) and MSE. Yet, it acts like it needs 10-15 minutes once logged in to calm down. Kind of reminds me of the work laptop as it exists for the LAN Nazis and not the user.
Ideas where I should be looking, changes that should be considered?
