W7 standard-user accounts without passwords less secure?

I am curious if not setting a password for a standard-user account poses any possible security holes. I am currently running admin (password-protected)/standard user setup, Max-UAC, and windows 7 x64 pro.

Not in the sense you probably mean, no. If you have multiple users with Standard accounts and you want to keep them out of eachothers' stuff, or if you want to prevent people from walking up to the computer and logging on locally, then it would be better to have passwords, however.

I always have at least a short password just so I can lock it and anyone can't easily get on. I used to have it auto logon and then lock it, so windows could load things into memory and since its faster to unlock then logon.

Thanks guys. I was thinking whether a virus or security threat could somehow break a limited-user account if it didn't have a password. NOW that you guys mentioned it, I will set that quick password and put an end to lazy pc protection.
