W2K & W98 blind on home LAN

Any suggestions/articles appreciated on this issue.

W2K Pro and W98 do not consistantly see each other on
a home network. Two boxes w/W98, no problems but W2K pro
is flakey. System settings suggested thus far have not worked.
Any suggestions or links to articles would be appreciated.

I actually found and followed up this FAQ when checking into the
cable info. I had no success. I'll just have to keep at it until
something gives.
