Save all documents you are working on and try this

1. Run cmd from Start->Run (duh!)
2. dir *.ini /s
3. Press Enter immediately.
4. Press F7 and Enter several times quickly.
5. Press Ctrl-C

Relax while computer reboots 🙂

ps. Found by Daniel Siffredi

Well I tried it and it worked, but mine didn't reboot, it gave me the BSOD. Also when I forced reboot I failed to realize that I had a Mandrake 8.1 install disk in the CD-Rom, so when I came back after a min or two I was kinda confused why the screen said "Welcome to Linux Mandrake 8.1 Install" (or something like that)

Anywho, this is a great find.

Imagine guys, that somebody has telnet access to you win2k box. He can reboot your machine without any special privileges.

Like if you had code red on your IIS server... 😛

I enjoy looking at my apache log and seeing people trying to run root.exe (exploit Code Red vulnerability) 🙂
