w2k registery question

how do u enlarge the size of ur W2K pro registery. coz my machine keeps displaying this missage of enlarging the size of the registery each time i attempt to uninstall a software

To enlarge your registry you do the following:

START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM icon
Select the tab ADVANCED then click on the button PERFORMANCE OPTIONS.
On the lower right hand side select the CHANGE OPTIONS button.


At the very bottom you should see the registry's current size and a space to change it to a higher value.
Upon changing you registry, your swap file will also be increased, so if you dont have alot of drive space be warned.
