W2k and sharing

My roommate and I have our computers networked. We used to both have Win98 which made it really easy to share folders. I, however recently installed Win2k. I have no NT networking experience so I have no clue how to set it up so he can access my shared folders. Can someone give me a quick run-through on how to do this?
Thanks

Very quick run through: First you need to have a user setup on the W2K machine with the same name and password as the Win98 machine (if you don't know this name try to log of on the Win98 machine and log back in). Next you need to setup a share of the folders or drives that you want. Right click on the folder choose sharing. Say new share and give it the names that you want click ok and voila 🙂

An Even easier way to share the drives IMO is to follow cirrus1's explaination of setting up a user account then after that right click on my computer choose manage and the go down to shared folders...right click and choose new share. You can search the Hard drives for the directories you would like to share. I also like it because you can not only tweak the permissions very fast you can also create multiple shares in no time flat.

Very slick feature of Win2K
