Hey everyone, I have been attempting to slightly overclock and PERFECTLY tune my pc and w10 for gaming specifically, not like the clickbait fps boost tutorials for games made by kids who dont really know what they are changing or doing to there pcs, or they are too smart and the tutorials are for specific benchmark purposes. this sounds silly to most but I am a professional battle royale player and have been for the past 2 years, I do not want to be treated as a kid in this thread because most people do not fine tune there pcs for these purposes ONLY. Battle Royales are by far in my experience the hardest games to optimize, the game I am optimizing my pc for is Fortnite [no i am not a kid]. I have done a ton of research over the past couple weeks I am still extremely new to this so forgive me if I sound stupid or ignorant
. I will attach pics of my specs and what they are running at so you can get a base for what I have and what i have changed already, from what i have changed so far honestly my computer feels like a redacted monster of butter perfection but i think we know it can do more.
ps
please excuse my grammer i have remaped keybinds so i cannot capitalize everything but i will do my best
____
goal: all resources on my pc and w10 to be used for online gaming to get the max performance without making my hardware unstable or hot enough to the point it will start degrading. to get the most consistent amount of frames with little to 0 tearing or input delay even in the most stressful of ingame situations. obviously my ping depends on my physical distance between me and servers but while changing the policy editor and adjusting other things didnt lower my ping, it gave me a way smoother experience in game with less lag spikes etc..
w10 changes:
-local policy editor (turned off the reservable bandwidth w10 reservs for other services 20%[default] -to 0% [off]
-ask vg's master tutorial for making w10 super fast
-debloated w10
HARDWARE: ps. for some reason i have 4 ddr4 ram sticks installed all 4 are 8gb but 2/4 are different brand and run at a different hz than the other 2 i dont know if that is actually making everything slower or not

NVCP:
i have seen a ton of guides but these specs are based off learning what specifically each option does and how it effects my computer specifically

other specs: ssd 250gb
monitor: acer predator 240hz (brightness/ color settings adjusted from anandtechs review) for least motion blur artifacts / ghosting etc..
fortnite: gameusersettings.ini

238 frame rate limit gsync x VSYNC OFF
these were set from articles i read from https://www.blurbusters.com/
