I got the p120 working whoohoo! I have been fiddeling with this thing and debian linux for the last week, and it finally is crunching seti! OMG thats gotta be dedication or somthing...for somthing that will put out in a little under a week 😉. lets see if I can't get the redhat box over to debian and make my life really easy. for a linux newbie I think Im doing okay...😉
 
I think I am going to understand your pain. I am installing an old dual celeron 366 with an old red hat 5.2 I bought along time ago as we speak.

Well, I am postingthis from red hat 5.2 using whatever version of netscape came with it. I am stuck in 16 color mode, this old release doesnt support my GeForce MX in this box. Guess I need to find some drivers and figure out how to reconfigure X, or install a newer X. Why do I reinstall Linux? I always get so frustrated with it.

Hmm....I guess I am going to reinstall later with a newer version of Linux. I am still stuck in 16 color, the NVIDIA files wont use the compiler from this version and it seems this version doesnt like my box. I decided to install rc5 before going to bed and this thing is only using one of the CPUs. 🙁 And my burner is in the Linux box, so I will have to move it to burn new ISO files for a newer version.
