this is what I was going to do, until i realised that my floppy drive has been dead for a month(and since I never use it, I haven't bothered to get a new one) It is just going to be easier to do a reinstall, seeing as I need to do one anyway(its been a few months) and I don't really want to buy a floppy drive right now and there is nothing important on my main partition
I have 2 drives, one drive will all my documens and MP3s and such and one that i have my OS and apps on.

You can do this from the recovery console on the 2k/XP disk. Ive tried it in 2k (for other reasons) and it should work just fine.

again, something that I already tried. The system repair doesn't work, it won't do anything about the bootloader
