miss me? i missed ATOT 🙂

I was there for almost 4 days... flew back home today... still tired.
The best part was the helicopter ride to the Canyon.
I used Heli USA and was supposed to go on their Chariot of Fire Grand Canyon Tour which takes you over the Dam, the Canyon and the Valley of Fire, but because of 'weight restrictions' (ie: they overbooked)... i got bumped to the Grand Canyon Ranch Adventure.. which is the same of the Chariot tour, but adds a Canyon Landing for Lunch on the Canyon floor. Stayed at the Strat... comp room... comp meals.... and i won a few bucks 🙂

Flew down on JetBlue.... i won't fly with any other carrier anymore. This was my first ride on JetBlue.. and they blow away all others.

btw... i stayed at the Strat.... i love the hotel... was on the 24th floor....
With all the stuff i gamble... the room was comp... all my meals were comp... and i walked away with +$1000 in my pocket 🙂

 
My family is heading there in July (oh my god is that going to be hot). Any cheap stuff you suggest we do?
 
July will prolly be a scorcher.... it was 100+ the 4 days i was there... sauna city... not sin city 🙂

Free Stuff... hmm...

here's some hints.

Free Drinks:
Take 5 $1 bills with you. Put 1 $1 bill into a quarter machine. DO NOT GAMBLE IT. When the waitress comes over.. order TWO drinks (you're allowed two).... when she comes back... cash out the dollar... and tip her with it. You got two free drinks (you tipped the waitress for bringing it to you... you did not pay for the drinks). Repeat 4 other times, at different casinos.

Free Shows:
Go to the different casinos... sign up for a players card. Tell them you want to know what promotional comps they're offering. Places like the Tropicana,Aladdin, Caesars, Stratosphere... are giving away tickets when you sign up for a players card.

If you play video games... sign up for Gameworks.com at their website... by clicking on the link which says "Become a member"... you'll get a coupon for $10 free play when you purchase a $10 gamecard. There's a GameWorks next to the MGM-GRAND, right under M&M World.


Learn to Gamble from the Casino's itself! Most of the Casino's have a tutorial time to learn some of the games... like Craps, or Roulette... or even BlackJack and Poker. When you're done with the lesson, you get a coupon for $5 match play, when you bet $5... what that means is a $5 bet becomes $10 (when using the coupon).


And don't forget to check out the free shows.... Circus Circus, Bellagio Fountains, The Mirage volcano, the Tropicana bird show....

God I really hated those mofos when I was there last year! They don't care if you're walking with your wife and kids, arrgh!
