W00t, i received my first tax return at age 17!!!

<< I worked in the summertime, and i never knew that i would actually get a return. SIX BUCKS BABY!!! 😀 >>

w00t. What are you gonna buy?? 😀

I think i might treat myself to Mcdonalds. It's terrible how six dollars nets you a miniscule "burger" with a side of artery-cloggin fries.

I hope I get a tax return. If what I know about tax laws are true, and having my dad as a co-signer on my college fund doesnt screw me over, I should be getting a check from the IRS in the range of $300 😀

Cheers😎
Mike

good work erik! six bux today, 6000 bux tomorrow. That my man, is the start of something big!!!😉

I have a $1.02 state tax return floating around somewhere, I got it years ago & never cashed it. I wanted to burn it, just to be able to say I burned my tax return check.

My mom flipped at that idea, so now I have no idea where it is.

Cool! What are you going to buy me?

Heh.. I should be getting about $1000 back any day now 🙂

Heh, I got $1.27 back the first time I got a return, then the next year I recieved $5 and change. This year I've got $150 😎

Go to In-N-Out instead.

Apparently I will have to pay 330 bux more to the feds and 400 bux more to the state.
I haven't filed yet, but that's what turbo tax online says 🙁
I have no idea how that happened. I got signing bonus and relocation, but that was grossed up, and taxes paid on it.

Additionally, I will be voting Republican in the next election in CA. This is a first for me.
I really don't like where GOP is socially, and 2 years ago, I was getting government financial aid and student loans to help me go to an Ivy League school, and paying no taxes, so I was clearly in the Dem's corner.
Now I am a single filer with salary in the high 5 digits, so I am going to vote my pocketbook instead of my conscience. It was nice when the money was flowing my way, but from my pocket is a big no no :|

You don't want a large return anyway. You should be the one holding on to your money throughout the year, not the Goverment.

lol, 6 bucks, awesome. I get about $320, but it is all going toward school anyway... *sigh* stupid higher education....
