Same name, that's it. The original is a classic. That has to be one of my favorite movies, and I wish I were lucky enough to see it in the theaters. I saw the anime as well, and...um...If you want to see good anime watch Akira, Princess Mononoke, or Ghost in the Shell.

It's the original 1927 version, just remastered, lost scenes put back in, and the original classical score put back in.

That flick was way ahead of it's time, especially the plot If you haven't seen it then you aren't a true sci fi fan
