Yea, me neither. I use the window key shortcuts a lot.

I've used the old IBM's before... I really don't see the draw to them. Maybe it's just me.

I've got a few laying around - mint. Might just have to drag them out to see what all the hype is about. :) I kinda like the textile feel of new keyboards and the windows key!

Ahh, the joys of a model M keyboard.

I've got one that I took to work, and one on each of my PC's at home. I've converted them all to dvorak as well. Seasoned veteran typists type like 3 year olds when they try to use my computers :)

I can imagine ;)

I'm not ashamed to admit i'm more excited about the keyboard than i am the 21" CRT i'm picking up on thursday (which will be a 'small' upgrade from my dual 17"s (altho i'll have to run mismatched screen sizes).

Hmm....I wonder why everyone likes them so much....I find them very uncomfortable and I make more mistakes typing with the one they have at one of the cubicles at work than with a regular dell keyboard.

I thought the IBM PS/2s were 286s. If yours is AT, I wouldn't think it would come from a 386, probably from an AT.

i don't like the way my keys wobble on my MX Elite Duo keyboard. I also find the keys too easy to press, and the keys themselves a little too small for my fingers. I guess it's just personal preference at the end of the day ;)

AT Keyboards were used on some machines through the early Pentiums...

Yes, and the K6s with super socket 7. AT computer cases and all.

However...IBM created the PS/2 keyboard standard with the...PS/2. So it seems logical that all IBM keyboards (made for IBM machines right?) from that point on would be PS/2.

I suppose that's possible, but I thought that IBM still manufactured AT keyboards for other manufacturers after the PS/2.

I honestly don't remember the make of the computer it accompanied, but I know for sure it was a 386, and the keyboard is AT (I guess that's what its called, bigger than a PS/2 with a thicker cable coiled kind of like a wired phone cord).
