What do they mean best effort 1.5MG. does that mean they can give you 1.0MG and say that was their best effort at 1.5MG therefore you pay for 1.5MG.

768 DSL is $49.95 a month here. Anything Charter wants to give me without a price increase is just fine with me, for $40 a month.

i'm on using charter here in southern california... such a crappy isp... my goodness.

$50 a month for 768/128 + modem rental and tax, so total is ~61-62

and service is extremely unreliable, goes down all the time.

Tell me about it. I got about 0.3k/sec download for two months.

i get 4 MBps downloads....however i get 128kbps uploads....for chrissakes increase the damn upload speed...

With @Home I got 480KB/s down, now only get about 70KB/s.
