What fund(s) did you invest your 401k in? Stupid me had most of my 401k in bonds and stock/bonds funds I didn't even come close to beating S&P 500.

I'm a wuss, so my 401K is 100% on S&P500 index fund. Probably need to subtitute some percentage to get an index fund to track the mid & small cap. My Roth IRA is on small cap index fund and I got a nice 39% on it :)

Nice return on investment.

Mine's been a pretty good investment. I'm 30 years old and I have about $60K in mine. I'm interested in how I'm doing relative to my peers. I do have about $10K on a credit card though. That's why I've been considering reducing what I have going into 401(k) to pay off debt. What say you?

A simple answer for your question, how much is the interest rate on the CC, and do you think your 401K return can beat that rate? If not, then paid it off asap.

I say no, your 401k contribution is limited per year, plus it's tax deductible. Don't reduce your contribution or touch that money unless you absolutely need to.
