I now have a brother-in-law. My sister's bf proposed to her a couple days ago, she accepted... the are getting married August 16th in Mission Viejo, CA.

So strange to think I'll have a brother-in-law. My very small family (5 people in immediate family) just got 1 person larger.

*shrug* It's not the brother in law part, really, it's the fact that my sister's getting married.

It's a big deal in my family and we have 7 people in ours. There literally was 3 months between when we knew my sister was even seeing a guy to when they got married. My sister prefered to keep info about dating seperate from family life (as do I) so we had no clue it was coming. Congrats, and make sure to let him know if he ever makes your sister cry you know a few places where they'll never think to look for a body . I'm sure he's nice though, congrats again.
