When W was young he went to summer camp where he, Carl Rove (aka Stinky) and little Richard (aka heart attack) Cheney conspired to go into politics with the secret agenda to invade Iraq.

Seriously:

1. Yes Bush and company decided long before March to take out Saddam.

2. Bush is being lead by Neocons....err actually Bush is a Neocon. He is the head Neocon.

3. Nothing that has happened in Iraq has surprised me so far. I didn't think it was going to be easy but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. Sometimes the task is very hard that's why God invented Marines.

4. Yes Bush is an idiot but he did pull the trigger, most politicians try to skate by doing very little. I don't agree with all his policies and some are intended to simply look good for re-election but I do give him credit for having balls.

Unfortunately those balls belong to Cheney!

The Bush Administration started making plans for a war on Iraq 10 days into the administration!!

See my 2nd post in this thread.

Cheney already had maps of the Iraqi oil fields and a list of companies from 30 countries would be potential suitors for the Iraqi oil.

I bet it was long before they were elected which doesn't bother me in the least.

In order to pull the trigger he first had to con the American people. And the balls he put to the wringer are those of the people in the form of our national treasury. Bush is the most costly joke the country has ever seen.

That is your opinion, others are impressed with Dubya's toughness and agree with the actions he has taken.

Pathetic. You're impressed with his "toughness?" Hell, why don't we just elect a WWF star for president? The Rock would do nicely, right? It would be just as real. After all, Bush is a Northeastern (Connecticut) blue-blood who graduated from Yale and then Harvard. He's been trying his whole life to cover-up his real image with this whole "cowboy ranch wrangler" persona. Its so fake. Fake, fake, fake. Just like his alleged "toughness."

Ill take one as soon as the president does. You dont seem to have a problem with his knowledge and understanding of the English launguage.
Actually you dont seem to have any problems with anything he does, do you. Its simple that way isnt it. Towing the Rep line eases the burden on your brain, Less thinking this way.

Clinton talked tough but did nothing, at least Bush will pull the trigger.

To borrow from the Army's slogan, I do more thinking before 6:00am than you do all day...sir.

Clinton did quite a bit. He was hamstrung by the Republicans with their claims of "wag the dog" that eliminated cooperation from the CIA and the Pentagon.

Bush will pull the trigger, alright, despite any long-lasting and far-reaching consequences that has. Bush has absolutely no clue in diplomacy.

I do agree that what happened in Iraq was not suprising, and was very predictable. I think in the end it's NOT going to be worth it. Before it's over, several thousand soldiers will die only to transfer power from Saddam to the ayatollahs and extremists. There is a reason men smarter than Bush supported Saddam in the 80's and man smarter than his son let Saddam stay in 1991.

I think Iraq is going well actually, it was a massive job and I think the US army is doing the best they can with it.
It could be a lot worse!

It's not going to matter in the end, mark my word. If we can find another secular dictator like Saddam to suppress all the extremist religious elements we have unleashed, we will be lucky. It's just too easy for extremists to come in and agitate the gullible population.

Now try this on for size:

"It's just too easy for extremists to come in and agitate the gullible population."

Now consider all the Radical Fundimentalist Christians ( or Evangelicals for the knuckleheaded fools )involved in our goverment now....... Wow... see a pattern, this is a "crusade"

Yes, it could but it's FAR from going well. Iraq is a mess because we have a bunch of ideologues directing the military.
