I am thinking of buying this. $400 incl. shipping. Anyone here have it? I use my monitor for work and gaming so I'd like to hear the opinions of people who have it. How is it for long term web use and word processing?

What about movies? PCGamer said it had some issues with movies.

Tell tell tell.

What I want to know is about the color accuracy...is it a fact or just a myth that panels with faster response time have worse color accuracy? I heard that a 12-16ms panel is the best compromise between response time and color accuracy.

Also Pugnate, FWIW, BenQ has a 2ms panel available for just over $200. If you're dead set on the VX922, there is one FS in the forums right now.

Yup, US. To Asia. :p

Is the BenQ panel any good?

Also would never buy a LCD from someone off the forums. I'd buy other hardware but it is just something that ships for a lot, and I don't want to risk dead pixels.

The $400 I mentioned above is the monitor in the store, and I can check it out.

Benq uses AU Optronics panels, one of the cutting edge LCD manufacturures in the world. I use two Benq 19 inchers (FP91G+ and FP92G+). Bought both from Newegg and they arrived with zero dead pixels. These are outstanding displays for the money and have a 3 year parts/labor/backlight warranty.....
