Thanks again WT for the link, I say go for this monitor, unless you find another one thats actually better. If you do get this problem, the DVI recover is quick and painless.
What is DVI recover?
Also, I assume that you know now that DVI Dual-link is only necessary for resolutions above 1920X1200. So, for example the Dell 30" requires a dual-link connector to run at its native 2560X1600 resolution.
