VX2025wm wont display with DVI cable from 7900GT?

Also, I assume that you know now that DVI Dual-link is only necessary for resolutions above 1920X1200. So, for example the Dell 30" requires a dual-link connector to run at its native 2560X1600 resolution.

damn, where was this thread a couple of months ago when my viewsonic VP171b had this exact problem.

Oh well... 1680x1050 is ridiculous compared to 1280x1024.

You can try it on any monitor that has a non-working DVI port. It does work for alot of people who try it, but not for everyone.

Ahahaha... I had this same problem. When I was trying to switch from one to dual VX2025wms, it ended up that both my monitors went blank due to said issue. I had to toy with em for about three hours to get the image back. It was a major pain in the ass! I ended up downloading this program that was supposed to fix the issue, but somehow my monitors decided to turn themselves back on (I didn't even install the program!). All was good after that~
