Ok, not to break em. I think the new SUV diesel has potential. Ought to get about the same mileage as my Passat.

VW produces alot more than that - even light trucks although they dont resemble the US-style pickups (in fact they are buttugly), because they are built to move stuff - cost efficient... - not to accelerate fast, look pretty and have the option to transport a little (volume, I know pickups can haul quite some weight).

Last I saw the engine wasn't even in it yet. Knowing Dooley it will sit for another year and he will probably sell it like he did the Vanagon turbo project.

Yeah but that looks fast and only really goes in a straight line. I would rather have Dooley's ugly ass truck and suprise everyone.
