My friend has a 2004 VW Jetta with 25k miles on it. Power lock and power window stop working on him yesterday. Whenever he pressed the lock button, the doors lock then unlock immediately. The none of the power windows work. He also could not open the trunk from inside of the car, and the remote entry key flop doesn't seem to do anything. We checked all the fuses, but they all look good. I also used a generic OBD II code scanner to scan for codes, but there were none. I could not locate any of the door jamb switches. They must be inside of the door. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your help!

yeah. That's what I think he will end up doing. He didn't remember if he bought extended warranty or not so it will cost him an arm and a leg. He called the dealer today and they told him that the earliest they will look at the car is Oc. 13, and there's a $130 fee just for them to look at it.
