vsync in windows?

I just don't think it's necessary.
If you move windows quickly on a LCD monitor, they will go totally blurry and be unreadable unlike on CRTs.

The tearing is noticeable more than anything...especially when I'm using my LCD in portrait mode and scrolling vertically. I don't think the object is to read them while you're quickly dragging windows across the screen anyway :p

yeah, its just for it to look cooler. i'd like to see it move smoothly on my CRT.
