Solid. I've been looking for some veggie-mixed shake recipes that don't taste like ass. I've made kale ones before, but God were they horrible. May give it a try since it's always hard to get enough veggies in my diet. The powdered products are likely out of my budget, but I'd be interested to try the flavor combo of the fruit and kale.

ya, kale can be pretty bitter, a ripe banana goes a long way in offsetting the poor taste. Using frozen berries also numbs the bitter edge thanks to the coolness. I'd also suggest if you really dislike kale to try baby spinach, I find it much more palatable.

On the ANDI scale, spinach is not far behind kale in terms of nutrition.

Yeah, I've recently started adding spinach and it doesn't change the flavor much and adds some good fiber, phytonutrients, vitamins, etc. My banana-berry shake tastes almost exactly the same with it. Personally, I'd like to add more kale into my diet for the calcium, since I've read recent research that links supplemental calcium to heart pathology in women.
