VPN with NT

Sorry the redundant posts.... I posted a kind of similar question a couple of weeks ago but am still having some trouble.

I need to have 2 or 3 computers connect to my Win NT 4.0 server through a VPN. I have gone into Routing and Remote Access but it will only allow me to select a modem.

Is there anything I need to download for NT?

If there was a hardware device that contained some client/host software that would be even better.

The speed does not matter... simplicity does. :)

Thanks

Go in to Control Panel and then Networks. Under Protocols, Make sure you have PPTP added, otherwise it will not work. Once you have added PPTP, then you will have to set it up under remote access in your clients computer. Also, in the server you will have to designate how many incoming VPN tunnels you may have. Also, what type of connection do you have? If you have a router, you will have to enable ports 1723 and 47. I hope this is helpful, but I am not a tech guru.

Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.

The server is on an ISDN connection and the clients have cable and dial up connections.

I only have one problem, I think. I have a Pipeline 50 modem.

Anyone know how to get into this thing and open the ports?

NM: I think I figured out a way.
