VPN under NT4 HELP!

beer

Lifer
Alright I have the CFO's Dell laptop in my hands right now.
I have PPTP installed but I cannot find out where to invoke RAS setup to configure PPTP to VPN to our network from home.
Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Hint: Under Protocols, clicking on PPTP and then Properties does nothing. Damn. All it does is prompt me to enter the Number of VPNs which is 1.

Do you have the RRAS pieces running on the server? If so, you set the number of VPN's to 1, connect to the network via RAS, then make another "dialup" connection using the IP address of the PPTP server.

under network ---> services, find RAS. You config the RAS capable adapters there, which the one you want is the MS VPN adapter. Hope this helps 🙂
