VPN server without a static IP?

i mean the VPN Server does not have a static IP. or a registered name. I get a dynamic IP from my broadband provider, and I want to set up a VPN so someone can access my machine like they were on our little LAN. so, in fact we both (client and server) have dynamic IP's. is this a possible configuration?

You could always use a Dynamic DNS service like www.dydns.com or dns2go.com That would allow you to bind to a real name. e.g., myserver.dyns.com

Nexland makes a series of routers that have direct support for this built in so you don't need to run any software on your computer.www.nexland.com You might want to look at the Symantec VPN/Firewall versions of the Nexland routers since in addition, they have 3DES VPN endpoint built in. You can get the base model for about $300. The higher vers add a second WAN port for load balancing.
