VPN issue

when a remote user is connecting to Cisco VPN, she has wireless broadband, she keeps getting a "waiting to initialize" message for 5 mins, never gets past that, any help would be good, thanks

what is the wireless card she is using? I worked with a client who had a similar issue and it was drivers for the card she was using. Ended up going with a different card, but the problem was drivers. I believe it was a Linksys card.

Could also be a firewall issue. I couldn't get my vpn up and running until I uninstalled Sygate firewall.

Good point. Our VPN does not work at all if the client machine has a firewall running.

thanks for the help, she is in fact using a linksys card, and firewall was not the issue
was using a wireless PC card with a wired router :Q
