VPN - ie always dial default connection

with IE I can choose to dial a default connection (my vpn).. and if it's not active it will try to connect before opening the page.

with firefox there's not any options like this. is there a way to accomplish this?

basically I want it to use the VPNs internet to browse the internet, and not my own.

no.. there's not a "dial-up and vpn settings" box in firefox.. just the proxy settings under the network tab..

Yeah, I found that when searching google but it didn't work. that would probably work if I had no connection present. but I'm already connected to the internet via my LAN. but I want firefox to only connect to my preferred VPN connection.

whenever I open up IE it shows the connect dialog for my VPN connection.. with firefox it just goes directly to my homepage or whatever link I click on.
