VPN connecting problem

I have a linksys RV082 and I was trying to VPN to it from my school and whenever I use Linksys Quick VPN it hangs up on the Network verification. I am able to connect on other networks other then the school and I know people connect to work VPNs at school. Any ideas how I can get it to work? I was thinking about an SSL VPN solution does anyone know if I would run into the same issues or if that would work differently. I would suspect the school would not block an SSL connection.

As you may have noticed already due to the lack of replies, most people here are not going to help to you get around your school (or work) network security.

what?? I am not trying to get around my school's security... I am trying to access my computer from school.. that is not going to hurt the school or allow me to do anything wrong... they do not care to much what you do on campus, they allow webemail, online gaming, and even the dreaded myspace. I just want to gain normal access to my VPN router from school, which should not be against the rules since other people do it to their business

I would try first with a hub/switch or from a friends place, it it doesn't work there, it won't from school. If you can connect, then the school is blocking it and you're SOL.

I have been able to connect from networks other then the school. I just installed SSL-Explorer and I am going to try that out and see if I can get that to work at the school.. More then likely if that works the router will... or I might just be happy with SSL-Explorer since it is free
