Voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States

Below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations records:

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time.

United Arab Emirate! s votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.

Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.

Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.

Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.

Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.

India votes against the United States 81% of the time.

Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.

Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

US Foreign Aid to those that hate us:

Egypt,! for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States receives $143,699,000 annually.

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes.

Amazingly the author of this piece has the ability to discern that because a country doesn't vote the way we want it to vote, it must mean that that country hates us.

Perhaps it is time for the author of this piece to pull his head from his ass.

Israel has no vote at the U.N.

That said, I agree we should review our funding of all countries, including Israel, for general principal if nothing else. Let's spend some of that money in ways which might help us.

No, sorry.

But I would guess they are a lot more likely to vote "for" us.

you are geting warmer, but it isn't that they have been voting for us; rather, we are the ones that have been doing the voteing. if you look at what we have been voting on, you will soon learn why there is such a "sad" situation when compareing our voeing record with that of Arabic/Islamic states.

We should base the amount of aid they get with the amount of times they vote with the US.

Nah. We need real allies, not ones that can be bought off. When you buy off allies you get situations like "the coalition of the willing" who run off when things get ugly or the money dries out.

And nuxto, would you apply this reciprocally? Do you think Israel should give us aid since we vote in their own interests so often?

India isn't Arabic or Islamic.

Another odd part of the original post is that it associates voting records that are not in line with the US with "hating us". Please offer proof that when you vote differently on an issue, you hate the US.

Again, it's this bizarre agree with us or you are our ennemy routine.

Lame attempt at your Arab bashing. Go make another joke about it.. but if I was you Id make a joke about yourself first cause that would get you more laughs.

We don't give countries Aid so that they'll vote as we want in meaningless UN resolutoins.

We give Egypt aid so they don't attack Israel. We give Pakistan Aid so they help us kill Al Queda/Taliban.

Judging how often someone votes with us in the UN is a more judge of what kind of ally they are.

OK - Arab Defenders...

If it isn't HATE then WHY do they UNANIMOUSLY vote AGAINST THE US?

Because they disagree and look to their own interests first?

Maybe it's because US consistently acts AGAINST Arab interests?
Isn't that more logical? 😉

Oh - and I love the 'arab defenders' part. Perfect Nazi approach.

if someone votes against a resolution a party provides, does he hate that party ... no.
as sophia pointed out, the UN has many more members than arabic nations, and often it is the US in disagreement with the rest (for example a resolution declaring that israels assasination of palestinian (admittedly terrorist) leaders without a trial was not justified) (the US blocked this one offcourse, as about every resolution containing any bad word or thing about israel)

the thing is that international politics is a tricky game, and I think you'll find that lots and lots of resolutions get vetoed, every country wants to protect his own intrest (and those of her allies)

it's just the way things are, but it's better to talk and argue than not to talk.
