<< neither athiesm nor agnosticism are a religion.

The only belief people people share are is whether there is a god or no. From there on, every person is different.
>>

I don't know. Definition 3 looks like it allows for a godless philosophy. I securely believe in Man's spirituality, although I'm not quite sold on the idea of the old guy in the sky.

Atheists don't believe in the existance of God, therefor they have a belief but not a religion.

Agnosts on the other hand don't claim to know whether God exists, but want proof first. Would they fall under 'Other', or 'None'?

But athiests and agnostics are only one single belif. You can't say that Republicanism is a religion because people share that belief.

Religion is more than belief in god, its also about following some sort of creed or dogma. It has structure, teachings etc.

None of that for athiesm or agnotisism.

Marty, you're right. Atheism itself is not a religion. But there are religions in which the existance of God is denied or irrelevant.

Christian here, though not of a denomination. I actually go to a Bible church. We have all the same central beliefs as every protestant denomination, but don't have the traditions

Mmm...that sounds like one of the cooler ones. How friendly is it to Catholics though? I've got friends who complain that campus Christian groups sorta ostracize them...

I voted none, but according to the test that was posted here few days ago then i'm 88% secular humanist and that is soooo me.

Sounds like what I'm doing.

Amazing how traditional some churches has gotten nowadays.

What church do you go to?

I consider myself to be agnostic. However, I'm not in a situation where I want "proof", for even with definitive proof of God's existence, I would still not worship God. For me, the idea of "worshipping" anything is silly beyond imagine..

All religions are equally stupid.

Have you tried all religions? Or is it the same kind of statement as say, "My 2 American friends, John and Joe, are both stupid; Hence I conclude that ALL Americans must be stupid." ?

I don't think any religion that results in the followers doing good is stupid... That is possibly one of the dumbest thing I've ever read.

You're only as dumb as the things you say. Or do. Or think. Or believe.

I don't really know what I am. I am definetly not a real religion. I am probably a combination of a bunch of eastern relgions(taoism and budhism mainly) with a mix of my own ideas. All of that is subject to change at any moment though

cheers 🙂
Mike

read my sig 😀

I think Latter-day Saint deserves an entirely different category. Most Christians don't consider us Christians, but ah, what the heck, we are. So I'll vote Christian.

Actually, I'm going with "other."
