Vote or Die?

I was watching some morning shows, and that idiot P Diddy (or whatever assinine name he is calling himself now) was on with a bunch of "young people" all with t-shirts saying "Vote or Die". What the hell is that supposed to mean? We get a choice? Either vote, or die?

And did you notice that no one mentions anything about the last election? You know, the one where they got all those people out to vote, and one guy actually got more votes than the other, yet the guy with less votes became president? And then this year all you hear is "Your Vote Counts", and now "Vote or Die!". I seriously don't understand how people can be so gullible.

shrugs. Im not voting because i didnt register for absentee ballot for NY - was too busy. Oh wells, my vote doesnt count because a.) i have no clue what is going on in NY since I live in Boston, b.) John Kerry owns NY (I woulda voted for him anyways).

I believe the implication is that you have to vote as if your life depended on it... If Bush/Cheyney are re-elected the draft will be reinstated and you'll go to war and be killed...

Vote (for Kerry) or Die (in Iraq).

You're saying you believe this is what it means, but is there something in writing somewhere that explains it? I think I should use this tactic on my online store, "Buy or Die". When a customer calls up to order, I will tell them to buy from me, or they will die. That should boost my sales.
