For those of us who still use the usenet, vote / comment on your favorite news server...

Note: most of the ones listed cost money (i.e. they are actualy useful), but vary in retention and other services...

I was loving my ISP's usenet server until they put a 1 gig a month limit on it. :roll:

I use ROadrunner to get online and use their own news server. No cap, lightning fast speeds that max my 5meg connection. Retention is only 3-4 days but as long as I remember to check it every 3 days I'm fine.

Tried out newshosting.com and then realized that RR's servers were just as fast so I didn't sign up with them.

The unlimited account on newhosting.com advertises 4 connections, but I get 8+. It's great.

Now I'm just trying to find a decent free newsreader program. Both Grabit and PowerGrab seem to have a memory leak with large Usenet groups (ahem, a.b.dvd) and crashes the program.
