Hey, hey what can I do/Whole lotta love 45.
Hey, Hey is my favorite Zep tune. The only way to get it on vinyl is to find the whole lotta love 45. I special ordered it in the day 🙂

Then you got a bootleg copy. That single was on the back of the Immigrant Song(I have an original from 1970). Whole Lotta Love had Living Loving Maid on the B side.

Physical Graffiti and In Through The Out Door. III was very close too. The songs that don't get the most radio airplay are some of the best stuff. Carosolombra and In My Time Of Dying are two of their best songs that never get any air time.

Btw, where's "The Song Remains The Same"?

What'd they do, forget the poll?

and for the record, LZ IV - actually, the only *full* album I've heard, so I'm kinda stuck 😱

It amazes me that anyone can have a favorite over "Over the Hills and Far Away". I'd gladly blow out my eardrums listening to that song-- I'm just waiting 'til I don't need 'em any more.

The words "Led Zeppelin" and "Metallica" shouldn't even be mentioned in the same thread.

The first band was revolutionary, left musical landmarks in many different genres over a roughly 15 year career and is still emulated to this day.

The latter was a very popular metal band that rocked for a few albums, sucked for the rest and is now collectively recovering out of rehab w/only two of the original members and has really sucked worse than gravity since the "Napster Trials" days.

You're comparing Gold to Digging For Gold After Eating Nachos. Definitely not the same thing!

Yes, I posted this poll and screwed it up. Over an hour before I figured out what the hell to do.

I love the dark, blusey songs of I.

I love the acoustic sounds of III.

I don't know how to explain, but I love Physical Graffitti.

ZOSO was great, but kinda too popular.

edit, because I am a spelling 'tard also.

If anyone votes for Coda... I will stab you.

Coda is a great disc. "Wearing and Tearing", "Darlene", "I Can't Quit You Baby", "Bonzo's Montreaux"????? For an album that was released after the death of Bonzo, made of mostly leftover material, this is one of their best. As a matter of fact, I'm pulling it out of the archive right now so I have some good music to listen to on my way to work tomorrow.

Now, if you said "Presence" (except for Achilles' Last Stand and Nobody's Fault But Mine, both classics), I'd agree with you.
