Definitely worth a vote, even with registration. Gotta admire the guy's taste in picking a true woman, someone who stands by him in sickness and in health.

How do you get mounting medical bills on a work comp claim, seems like they may be playing the sympathy card.

Why are you thanking anyone? What vested interest do you have in this?

😕
No, Mr. Compassion. I was just expressing some gratitude to someone who helped with something I have a personal interest in. My fiancee is a paramedic, I'm trained as an EMT and we are friends with many in public safety. When one needs help, you do what you can and I certainly appreciate those who help with that.

I was going to vote, but it says the voting period is over.

They are in the lead about 1000 votes. So I guess they won.

If he is/was a police officer, and injured in the line of duty, why isn't his medical covering his bills?
Co-pays, assuming 20%, on an assumed half-million dollars = $100K

He was in a coma for four weeks. They could have sent him to a really good/expensive rehab hospital that does things the insurer won't pay for because its considered excessive or beyond the normal standard of care, plus this "chair" that helps him stand upright up to 30 minutes may not be covered.

This is not a typical insurance deal....workman's comp and the like takes place.

Still in the line of duty, you don't always make it out.

It's sad, but I don't think his future wife is truly thinking this all out.
