Bush all the way and I live in Tennessee.
How could someone vote for someone who has trouble telling the truth(Gore).

Ventura's on CNBC with Chris Matthews. He made a good point: as long as Rs and Ds have a stranglehold on our system voter turnout is gonna stink. I agree! He said Croatia has > 90% voter turner. Why? They have six parties to choose from. To be fair, he didn't mention a lot is at stake for that country so turnout would be high regardless.

Anyway, go Harry Browne!

<..It looks like Gore for me, Bush for Mr. Isla...>

Isla;

It would appear I have misjudged you. My short-term apologies.

Gore, probably.

Maybe Nader just to spite the two-headed monopology, though. (If he gets above 5%, he will receive funding for next time around).

Denny Lane (Grassroots): How can you vote for someone who's not a free trader? (From the campaign site: I am opposed to NAFTA, GATT, the WTO and other tools of the global plantation masters and international banksters.)

Howard Philips (Constitution Party): How can you vote for someone who hates gays? (From the campaign site: I would veto all funding for so-called "AIDS education" --- which is in fact a system to promote the propagation of homosexual conduct.)

I could go on....all of the candidates have problems. There is no perfect candidate.

LOL, UG!

I come from a family of staunch FDR Democrats. We make regular pilgrimages to Warm Springs GA to pay homage to The Man. Dad calls FDR his 'grandfather' and gets pissed if anyone suggests Eleanor is anything other than beautiful. They have bronze busts of the Hallowed Couple in the living room. :D One of my sisters in involved in DC and has done some rockin' and rollin' with the Party.

However, I married into a religious Right Wing family. Every election since then has been hell on me. "So, who are you gonna vote for, Isla???" The pressure has made me a bit cagey. ;)

:D :D

Can I vote neither? I dislike both the major candidates and have not studied the smaller ones.

I'll take a guy of less than stellar intelligence of David McReynolds (Socialist), Monica Moorehead (Workers World Party), Earl Dodge (Prohibition Party), or Howard Phillips (Constitution Party) any day.

You can find about ALL the candidates at Politics1.

<..."So, who are you gonna vote for, Isla?...>

"Well, that's on a need-to-know basis, and you don't need to know. (It ain't for whom you are voting, fool!) ;)

Toying is most of the fun. :)
