Vortex2 problems in WinME

Does anyone have Windows Millenium and a Vortex 2 card? I put it on for a while to test it out, and after i install the 2048 Reference drivers, lots of games got errors and crashed back to the desktop. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. I did like WinME and i am planning on buying it when it does come out, but i don't want to give up my MX300 card to do so.
 
Mine works. First try changing your video to VGA. Install the 2048 drivers. Disable SB Pro emulation. Change your video back to whatever. Have a great day.

Thanks man, I'll try that out at work tommorow. I never tried disabling SB Emulation, and I don't use it anyway, so hopefully that works. Also, if I remember correctly, the file that kept crashing WinME was "Au30wave(VXD)".

I did install WinME final with MX 300 and encounter HUGE problems 🙁

anyway everything works fine before installing the WinME drivers. I always boot up and encounter Windows protection error... blue screen ... nothing 🙁

Anyway.. I tried both the Aureal and Diamond driver with fresh install 🙁

dunno what else is wrong... I think aureal+diamond is sucks ... never would buy their products anymore.

I did disable SBlive sound emulation ... and still no go.
