Voodoofiles: What's the best XP driver to use for V5 5500 AGP?

I just installed SereneScreens Aquarium 2.0 and I'm getting horrible FPS under 1152x864x32...only getting about 30fps. This is in XP, which I just upgraded to. Used to run the same settings under 98SE @ about 120FPS....so I'm thinking it's a driver issue. I'm using the generic drivers installed by default with XP. Also, I have directx 9.0b although I don't think that matters much.

Heard about voodoofiles..so I checked it out. There's too many drivers there for me to know what to do with them. Should I go with original or 3rd party? If 3rd party, which one's the best? Stability is of highest importance. Can't have OS or games crashing on me :)

thx

I do not play Aquarium but I like the Darkmane and Dozer Drivers for the V5500 and XP

The only choice are third party drivers. I haven't used my 5500 for over a year so I'm not really up on the latest drivers, but try the most recent drivers you find.

Check the specs for ET, if it requires Hardware T&L you'll need to use a Utility like 3DAnalyser to get it to work.
