I might have a chance to trade my GTS card straight up for a Voodoo5 tomorrow. I had a Voodoo5 once for a couple hours, then it flatlined on me and went straight back to the store for a full refund. After using my GTS for a few weeks, I can say that I am not too impressed anymore. It seems that whatever driver I use breaks something in one of my games and the FSAA is shaky in D3D. I have grown a stong taste for FSAA as well, so the Voodoo5 is looking mighty tempting. On with the questions for you Voodoo5 people:
1.) Does Diablo II run better in Glide and can I use FSAA to make the game look better?
2.) Is the LOD slider now included in the recent Voodoo5 drivers?
3.) Have you had any trouble at all using FSAA in any games?
4.) When you are playing a game, can you even tell the difference between FSAA on the GTS and Voodoo5?
5.) How good are the drivers now that the card has been out for a while?
6.) Can someone benchmark the Quake3 Quaver demo with ALL game menu settings maxed out at 1024x768 32 bit color on their Voodoo5? (This is an important question, I really like playing Quake3 with the eye candy turned on)
7.) Do you think the Voodoo5 can get by for much longer without T&L?
