voodoo5 5500 re-reviews?

how come nobody ever followed up on the voodoo5 5500 and re-review it after somebody found out that the a good portion of installations could have been faulty? i remember reading some pretty hefty increases in some of the forums like 50% or more at high res. i know anandtech posted it in their news section, but that's the last i've heard of it. anybody know anything about this cuz i'm clueless on this?
