Voodoo3 2000 driver install?

Hello, I just downloaded the latest (and probably last) driver update for my Voodoo3 2000 card. Should I change my current video settings to standard VGA mode & then install the new drivers? What is the proper procedures before updating drivers with this board?

i just usually run the install and overwrite everything....never had a problem

acutally i think they tell you to go to device manager and use the update driver thing from there.
 
Correctly uninstall your old drivers and then search your registry/HD and delete anything that's left over from your old card. Then simply doubleclick the 3dfx installer and it will do everything for you.
