voodoo -II lock up's

my systim
soyo m/b 6BA+4
196 mb sdram pc 133
fc 533 cel -II o/c to 8oo meg
intell 740 8 meg agp
2 x voodoo -II 12 meg pci
my prob is
when i used to have only one voodoo -II cpu @800 meg it worked fine very few lock ups now in sli mode it lasts about 20 seconds and locks up voodoo cards chips feal hot
what can i doo to make these work with out lowering my cpu speed
i woul like to get these stable and maybe even run my cpu a little higher as it will go 920 meg stable but the fsb of 115 is probley to high for the voodoo -II as it s*it's it self over fsb of 100
please explain in simple term's if there is any way i can get this going

Are they IDENTICAL cards, or are they mis-matched V2's (one from, say Diamond, the other from 3dfx)?

Mis-matched cards don't work well together, I find. The only way to get them to work was to use the eyeScream drivers from Metabyte. Sadly, they are no longer available. I used a hacked set, but they're not upgradeable, which makes them rather useless, I find.

My V2 SLI rig, with matched Creative V2's, worked fine with an FSB of 146 on my P3V4X. That is a PCI clock of 36.5Mhz.

yess they are both the same both 12 meg voodoo -II evil king's

They are either getting to hot next to each other or you have them clock to high like 95Mhz or something. Try turning the clock speed back on them to 90 and see what happens. The clock speed on the voodoo's i mean.

sorry some of what i said now does not seem to be the case
I dissabled the sli and it is fine
were i said it locks up it turns the computer right off it shut's down when it is in sli mode
so if i can get it to run in sli it will prob be all right
from what i can see
cpu 8 x 100 = 800
pci =33
agp = 74
so there must be somthing rong with the sli mode

Yeh, my SLI didn't work until I turned down the clock speed on the Voodoo to the standard speed.
