voodoo 5500 in windows xp makes the monitor appear to be in safe mode.
This has only begun to happen as it was working fine.
When i boot up with Linux I do not have this problem at all.
Any one have any ideas on a resolution for this.

remove the card from device manager, reboot, and re-install the newest driver.
