Voodoo 5500 AGP - NFS HS - HELP PLEASE

Dear friends, I have heard many tales. However, does anybody know if V5500 can be used on Need For Speed High Stakes as a Glide card, or even with D3D drivers. I can use it as a D3D1 card, but I get a message saying that your card is not compatible...and the actual performance is poor to say the least. Any help would really be appreciated friends.

I ran NFS V on my Intel bx based system in glide without a problem...not sure what to suggest other than try complete uninstall of the drivers...clean the registry and reinstall the drivers...I would also uninstall the game first ...then the drivers...reinstall the drivers then the game....

otherwise I not sure what to suggest...Can you run other glide based games????
