Fricken Vonage ads are everywhere. They must have deep advertising pockets. I think they will fail. Landlines are going by the wayside. I just got rid out ours, and many of my friends have too. All Vonage is doing is resetting the time clock back a few years to what land line telephone rates used to be. The problem is, we are going away from home based phones and that company will fail soon enough.

I personally try not to use Adblock on Anandtech's ads. I mean, they do help pay for the site.
Especially irritating ones, like really flashy strobe-like ads, they get blocked.
I have yet to encounter these Vonage ads, but if they do show up, they're going to be blocked too.
Right now, I'm showing Google ads on the left, and a Gigabyte motherboard ad at the top of the page. No problems with them.
Ads with sound - very bad idea. I hate any webpage that has embedded sounds that are set to play automatically. It's just rude. Having no way of disabling the sounds is even worse. Of course, Adblock can cure that problem too.....
