Couple of my friends have them. Nice cars, but I think I'd just rather have a Mazda 3s GT for less. Plus the weird stereo just pisses me off.

Great looking car, wagon included. Shares it's chassis with the Mazda3, but a much nicer car obviously.

My girlfriend has one. It's pretty nice and we got the 2005 model for a rather significant discount. I wanted her to get the sport package like pictured above, but it still looks nice without it. PM me if you have any specific questions.

i had a volvo s40...great car. i think it was a 1.9L turbo so it had some getup. also VERY safe car as my sister wrapped it around a tree and walked away.

my mom was thinkin of getting this car but after all the option she wanted and it came out to $32G OTD
so she got a Acura TSX instead for $26,500 OTD

My cousin bought one new a little while back and he's had a ton of problems with his including losing all electrical power while driving 60 mph on the highway. The engine basically shut off and he had to guide the car to the breakdown lane.

no offense man, but most girls I've dated can tell you what size engine is in their cars.

And you can't?

yeah it's a little difficult to take your opinion seriously.. sorry.

imo they're great cars. the engines will last forever, other things can give you probs.

ya think they are cool. i test drove one though and didn't fit in it. the gas and the break are so close together that if i would push on the gas i would also push the break

I've always liked Volvos & have owned 4 over the years (still own a 93 850 GLT) but I'd say although its a nice looking little car, its just too expensive for what you get... I'd save some cash & go for a decked out Mazda 3 instead.

i wasnt sure if it was a 1.8 or 1.9 so take your e-penis somewhere else and swing it

ps. i own a '99 3.8L v6 mustang with a custom made dual exhaust and perform all of my own cars maintenance...so i do know at least as much as your female friends, not that i even feel the need to rate my manliness based on what your friends know.
