I use Razer Synapse to bind me "dpi up / down" buttons to volume change. It works fine, especially with the addition volume2 (so I get the visual). However, it occassionally doesn't work. It seems really the only time it doesnt work is when I'm watching youtube videos.
Can you help me solve this puzzle?

Chick somewhere inside the browser window (that isn't a link of course.) Does the volume key work now?

If you want to adjust your system volume, do the opposite: make sure you click outside of the browser window.

Yes it does. I'm looking for a way to avoid having to do this.

OK. Mouse and keyboard functions apply to whatever window is active. If Youtube did not have a volume adjustment, this would not be an issue. Since it does, it takes precedent when you have it selected as an active window.

It would be similar to having Microsoft Word and notepad open simultaneously. The application that is active would take your keyboard strokes.
